Newcomers!

After a few weeks, I have finally convinced John David to set our blog up. Actually, I set it up. I have to say I am very excited and overwhelmed. I didn't know what the title should be, the font, the colors, the background, etc!!! Hopefully, I will be faithful to post and let everyone know how we are doing and what we are doing.

For those of you who don't already know, we found out on Friday, December 14th we are having a baby boy! We are very excited! I have been overwhelmed with the thoughts of bedding, strollers, and a name! We would love to know what you think. We are trying to decide between Wakefield David (call him Wake) or Jeremiah David. John David is very particular. We had decided on Wake and now we have gone back and decided we need more time to think!! Sorry for those who were anxious to get a monogrammed gift for us (Jess)!

I am sad that Christmas has come and gone! The week before Christmas, we went to Crested Butte, Colorado. It was awesome. While John David skied, I slept, sewed, read a few books, and got a massage. It was very relaxing. It was absolutely freezing everyday. The highs were only in the teens and the lows were around 6 or 7. Here is a picture that John David took:

I really missed seeing God's creation while I skied, but there is no way I could have skied. Dr. Plessala said that I could travel and do pretty much anything. He even said I could ski! I asked him, "Dr. Plessala, what if I fall?" He said, "I didn't say you could fall!" He told me that he has had experienced skiers ski while they were pregnant, but I would not consider myself experienced.
