About a month ago we took a family trip to Nivens Apple Farm. It is about 35 minutes from our house and of course it is in the middle of nowhere! Not only do they have tons of trees where you can pick apples, they also have a farm with animals, a hayride, a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, and a play area for children. We met some dear friends, The Foret's, along with their 2 sweet little girls.
Evie was such a trooper to not have a morning nap and to let her big brother run wild for the morning. Jeremiah and John David picked a big bag of apples, which I made into applesauce for Evie. We rode on the hayride, looked at the animals, and got 4 pumpkins which now decorate our front porch.
