Get ready for a long post! BUT it is so worth every word. Preston and Caroline got married on Saturday. It was a beautiful wedding. John David and I were thrilled to be a part of something so great. And the following statement may be a shocker for most... I took 330 pictures! What??? Who am I? Jessica?
And when looking at all the pictures if it ever crosses your mind, "Where are Jeremiah and Evie?" After thinking long and hard, we decided to leave them at home with Nana and Paw Paw. We wanted to give our full attention and energy to Preston and Caroline and so we left them in Greenville. A big THANK YOU to my mom and dad for keeping them. Mom and dad took them everywhere including their favorite play places and so we weren't worried about them for 1 second.
So, on to the wedding festivities. Friday night was the rehearsal. Here is the very 1st picture I took, Preston and Caroline looking over details of the ceremony.
Preston looking at his bride-to-be walking down the aisle. This picture makes me cry! Which is what I did all weekend. Not tears of sadness, but joy! I mean look at the way Preston looks at her-I love it! Speaking of crying... after the ceremony was over, Mrs. Gayla said, "Did y'all hear someone sobbing during the ceremony? Danielle, was that you?" And the answer is yes. I couldn't control the tears. One of the reasons why was because Preston and Caroline decided to use the very same vows that John David and I did. And while they were reciting them, my sweet husband would glance at me! The 2 combined were too much for me to handle!
After the rehearsal, we headed off to the Botanical Gardens where John David and I hosted a rehearsal party! Good times...

And after the wedding, we went to the B & A Warehouse for an awesome reception. John David and I had so much fun... so did everyone else who attended! Here is their first dance...

I loved all of the pics. You did a great job! I know that the newlyweds will always cherish them- good for you to helping them relive a beautiful day - especially during those loooong weeks of waiting to see the professional photos. Everyone looked beautiful! I liked your outfit from the rehearsal and your hair looked good too! Like I said, everyone looked so nice. I'm glad you guys were able to get away and celebrate with new and happy couple. Congrats on adding a beautiful sister-in-law to your fam!
