Evie Beth's 2nd Birthday

Before the big festivities on Saturday, we went out to eat as a family on Friday night. Gigi and Sonny, Nana and Paw Paw, and the 4 of us went to Cheddar's. This isn't a shocker to anyone who lives in Greenville, we love that place! We enjoyed a great dinner and dessert before coming home to let Evie dive in to a cupcake and open presents!

Her party was at 4:00 on Saturday so most of the day was spent preparing. The yard needed to be cleaned up a bit, toys cleaned, bounce house put up, tables set, food prepared, and the list goes on and on. I'm so thankful that both sets of grandparents were here to help! It is a big job hosting a birthday party at your own home!

The theme was The Hungry Little Caterpillar. My friend, Courtney asked if I decided on that theme because Evie is constantly eating??? Ha ha. I didn't think about that but that is a good reason!
I found plenty of cute ideas online and found them quite easy to duplicate!
We are so appreciative to all our friends who came out to help us celebrate! Evie had a great time and received a lot of great gifts! And props to my hubby and Sonny for making the balloon caterpillar!

And since Evie's birthday falls around Easter, we usually have an Easter egg hunt too! We had so many eggs to hide that each child left with their baskets over-flowing! After all the kids hunted eggs, when they weren't looking, Evie would snoop through their baskets to find more candy! It was hilarious. And since she was the birthday girl, I let her do it! Why not?

Happy Birthday Evie Beth! Your spunk and personality make us laugh on a daily basis! You have such a love for life and food that it brings great joy to our hearts! We are so thankful that Lord allowed us to be your parents and blessed us with such a great daughter!
