June Recap

June has been a very busy month for the Adams crew. We celebrated Jeremiah's birthday the 1st weekend in June, the following week was filled (including our house) with the Foret Family, we then had our Annual Resident Roast, a tubing trip, and last but not least the kids and I traveled to Dothan and I had an overnight trip to Mobile! Whew!!!!
So, Jeremiah's birthday celebration was great. It was a very low-key party that included friends, the pool, pizza, cake and home made ice cream! He had so much fun. Thank you to all of his sweet friends who came out to celebrate his 4th birthday! Also, thank you to Nana, PawPaw, and Gigi for their help during the party! They were a huge help and we couldn't have done it without them!

The next week or two was filled with seeing the Murphy's and Foret's as much as possible! Shane and her crew left Father's Day and Catie's family left the following week! With tears in my eyes even as I type this, words cannot express how much my family is going to miss these 2 AMAZING families. They are truly 2 great friends and I love them dearly!

The weekend of the Roast and tubing trip, Gigi came to help us out with the kiddos. Thank you so much Gigi for all of your help that weekend! We did manage to squeeze in some family time downtown and enjoy the beautiful weather!

And this past weekend I traveled to Dothan for a long weekend. And Saturday morning, Gigi and Sonny took Jeremiah and Evie fishing for the first time. The kids had a great time and the picture below shows Jeremiah's first fish! He says it was as "big as Sonny's hand!"

The trip to Dothan was motivated by my overnight trip to Mobile. My very special friend, Morgan, turned 30 and her hubby gave her a surprise birthday party. So, I drove down to be part of the surprise. A big thanks to Travis and Stephanie for letting me stay with them for the night!

And I couldn't go to Mobile without eating Foosackly's! John David and I used to eat there multiple times a week for the 8 years we were in Mobile!

And I also couldn't leave Mobile without driving by our old house! :(

July should be a lot more calm for us. Not to mention, John David switches to an easier rotation so he should be home a lot more!
Hope you enjoy what is left of June! July and the scorching heat is quickly approaching!

Ahem, did you forget that you got to see ME while you were in Dothan?! I'm kidding. I love the new pics - especially the few of Evie in her pigtails. So cute!

What a post! Such a busy time, but what a wonderful time it was! The photos are great; Evie's hair is getting long! I love her pigtails!
