KIDNEY STONES!!!

So do you remember the Friends episode where Phoebe is giving birth to the triplets and Joey gets a kidney stone? Well, the way the Dr. in that episode kept saying kidney stones is hilarious. All that to say, I have kidney stones. Not just 1, but 4 or 5. Story:

Friday morning I woke up with a strong urgency to go to the bathroom, but couldn't. I was having lower back paint that was radiating to the front. I call John David a little scared, tell him the symptoms, and he says he will call me back. He runs it by a 3rd year resident and runs to the car. He calls me and tells me that he is coming to get me b/c I have to go to the ER. With all the back problems I have had, him and the resident think I could possibly have a rare and serious disease dealing with my spinal cord that requires emergency surgery. (I don't have that). So, John David comes and gets me and the more I talk to him about what I'm feeling, he thinks I have kidney stones.

We arrive at the ER, get quick service b/c of the help of the 3rd year resident and get in a room. They run tests and take a CT scan. They found 2 big kidney stones and 3-4 smaller ones. Sooo, you can be praying for the pain. The Dr. said it could take up to 2 weeks for me to pass them all. And on a sad note, Jeremiah and I are leaving Charlotte. John David and I felt it was the best in case I need my parents to help me when these kidney stones decide to pass. Plus, I'm taking Percocet and when I take that I can't take care of Jeremiah. My parents are driving up now and are going to drive me back to Dothan on Sunday.

This is all crazy for me. I have never had any health problems. So please pray that I will be able to handle the pain, pass them quickly, and take care of Jeremiah!
