Jeremiah and I arrived in Charlotte on Friday afternoon. We were so excited to be here with John David. So far, we have had a lot of firsts in Charlotte. First, on the ride here, it was the 1st time Jeremiah didn't go to the bathroom all over himself and the car seat. Considering we were in the car for 8 hours, that is pretty good. Second, it was my first time to drive that far and through that many states alone, not to mention with a baby! Third, is that since we have been here Jeremiah has worn socks for the 1st time. I have to say that I don't like the way it looks and he looks at his feet like "Where are my toes?" And on the same note, it has been the 1st time we have had to use a blanket. The weather is great. It is so cool and I feel like Jeremiah thinks he is in heaven b/c he isn't sweating all the time. Fourth, Jeremiah rolled over today!! I knew that he was getting close and John David and I are so glad that he waited until now so that John David could see it.
So far we like being here in Charlotte. We got to eat dinner with some friends last night. Reid and Kelli Jones live here and we haven't seen them since we got married. They had us over for taco soup and to watch the Auburn game. Thanks so much you guys-we had a great time. John David drove me around yesterday and showed me the area around the hospital and we went to the mall and ate at the Cheesecake factory to celebrate his birthday, which was last Monday. We will be here for 3 weeks and then back home. In case you are wondering, we are staying at an extended stay hotel which is smaller than the 1 bedroom apartment we lived in when we first got married. Jeremiah and I aren't complaining though b/c we love being here with John David.
Hopefully I will post some pictures of our time here in Charlotte. And I haven't figured out how to put video on here yet, but I haven't forgotten about the video of Jeremiah eating cereal. Also, I will try to video him rolling over.

Sounds like fun! Congrats on Jeremiah's no pooping on the way there. I remember cereal really helped us have less "accidents." Hope he's feeling better though.
