First, the LORD is amazing. His surgery wasn't scheduled until 12 pm so we were worried about him not being able to eat or drink anything and how we would handle that. Well, the Lord took that obstacle away. Jeremiah slept until 10 am (which he has never done before). We left the house at 10:30. He did great. They took us back to pre-op around 11:30 but they didn't take him to the OR until about 1:15. So they were running a bit behind ( which my surgery husband told me is very normal). Jeremiah didn't cry when they took him from us, he did well through surgery and did even better with recovery. We were told that when kids wake up from surgery, well they can be wild. But Jeremiah was so calm and let me just rock and hold him. We got him home about 4 pm.
Since getting him home, it has been a little rough. He has been fussy (which I would expect). He has started having some pain and we have given him his first dose of pain medicine.
THANK YOU so much for your prayers, messages, and calls. We feel really blessed to have had people praying for us and thinking of us.

Danielle! I had no idea little man was having surgery! I am so glad to hear that everything went well. I pray for his continued recovery. Keep us posted on how he is doing!
So happy the surgery went well and you are home! We are praying for speedy recovery and for the pain to subside quickly. I know it is a relief to have it behind you.
