Let me preface this story with this information. I grew up going to PCB, cruising the strip, etc! I knew about the pirate ship. It has been in Panama City since the early 90's. And it was one of those things where I said, "I will NEVER go on that thing!" And like all of you know, parenting makes you do the very things you once said NEVER to!!!! Jeremiah is totally obsessed with pirates right now. He watches Jake and the Neverland Pirates on the Disney channel, he knows all the lingo, he has a pirate hat and pirate pants, he had a pirate birthday party. So you feel me, right?
I saw on FB that one of my friends had recently taken her little boys on this pirate ship so I decided to look it up. To my astonishment, this pirate ship has amazing reviews. Some have said that it is something out of Disney! So we went... and this is what happened.
First, you have to get the right pirate gear!

Daddy was a scallywag! He bought this pirate a skull bandana, a hook, and a pirate sword!
After we loaded the pirate ship, the captain went over a few rules and we were sailing.
First things first: a water gun fight!

After the kids soaked the deck, it was time for those scurvy pirates to swab the deck! Jeremiah wasn't too excited about mopping so I don't have a picture to show you!

He got his face painted, complete with mustache and gotee. So, then he was ready for a sword fight.

He then got the chance to fire a canon (with bean bags of course)! And he wasn't too happy when he only got to fire it one time!

Lastly, he and the other miniature pirates got to hunt for treasure and help pull it up from the Never Sea!

Each pirate got to choose 3 pieces of treasure. They also received a pirate tattoo and skull necklaces! And you might be wandering, "What did Evie do during this 2 hour cruise?" Our pirate princess ate the entire time. Gigi was in charge of Evie and she was entertained by food alone!

If you are ever in PCB and you have a little boy obsessed with pirates, take him aboard the Sea Dragon!

Jeremiah is still talking about how he went on a pirate ship and sailed the Never Sea. He had a great time and it brought smiles to our faces to watch him!
