Oh my goodness...the other day when Aunt Gigi told us what ya'll were naming the baby I (April)looked up and saw that verse and now you mention it as well. Children are such a blessing. I am just now seeing this page and hope things are going better for you at school. That was so sad to hear about the student in your class. Hope you are having a good pregnancy and not too much sickness. You are all in our prayers. Love ya'll... Damon, April, Savannah & AJ
Hey it’s Gigi here-- Jeremiah’s grandmom, and this is my first time at bloggin’. I really love the name. I ordered these burp cloths on e-bay--- just as y’all decided on the name. I tried to add the picture from E-bay, in a beautiful shade of blue and chocolate.
It was fun this past weekend there in Mobile. Helping to get Jeremiah’s room ready and making new slip covers.
And…… the baby clothes for Jeremiah have arrived in Mobile! I spent many days prior soaking, sorting and washing John David’s heirloom clothes to get them ready for Jeremiah. All the Swiss batiste and lace will need lots of ironing just before wearing! John David, your “coming home” small handmade daygown will probably not fit Jeremiah..( John David was a 5lb. 14 oz. baby.) I can’t tell you both how happy it makes me that you are going to dress Jeremiah in John David’s clothes. Of course, Jeremiah has many new items as well. I will finish the white/blue collar and bubble this week. And yes, it has lace on the edge. Danielle, I was excited that you and John David only said no to 2 outfits—one had some pink in the smocking (I will correct this soon), because it is a boy’s button-on, and the other he just didn’t like. John David, you wore the little boy apron’s (dresses) until about 18 mos., and even though they are a bit worn with you and Preston both wearing them everyday, they are now in Mobile awaiting Jeremiah’s use. More new ones for Jeremiah will be ready by the time he grows to them. Love you both, Gigi (Mom)
Laura and I are so excited for you guys. Having had a little experience with trying to raise kids myself, I know that you will be awesome parents. I am loving the blog world because I can keep up with my friends at 11:00 pm (in case no one told you, this is the only time you will have to yourself). Keep us posted.
We have been married for 8 years. We live in Greenville, SC, where John David is an orthopedic surgery resident. I am a stay-at-home mom. We have 3 children. Jeremiah is 5 and Evie is 3 and John Martin is 6 months old. This is a blog about our lives as parents!
