Both of our children have double crowns! I know right-what a bummer for their hair. Jeremiah's hair in the back never lays down and Evie's hair is just now getting long enough that it is starting to spin out of control. And everyone asks me and John David if we have double crowns. John David doesn't and we were never sure about me! Well, I was getting my hair cut and colored yesterday and so I asked my hair lady. And the answer is ...YES! I am the one with a double crown and so my children can forever blame me for their messed up hair.
I saw on a website that when cutting hair with a double crown, the hairdresser has to be sure to cut in the way in which the hair is growing. And it gave a lot of other detailed tips. This answers the question of why Jeremiah's hair cut never looks, well great.
I can only hope Evie's hair grows quickly and we can "hide" her double crown.

i've never even heard of a double crown. What the heck does that even mean? Is this double crown thing to blame for the little curl that always got the "look" acknowledgement when you thought you were having a bad hair day? I can hear you now "looook". haha!
