Gigi came to visit this past weekend and we all had such a great time. John David and I had a date night on Friday. Thanks Gigi for babysitting! :) We went to Fall for Greenville and met some friends downtown. This was the 30th year for Fall for Greenville. Downtown shuts down Main Street and all of the local restaurants have booths where they serve food (purchased with tickets), there was a beer garden, wine garden and numerous stages with live entertainment. It was so fun and the weather was great.
On Saturday, we drove to Hendersonville, North Caroline (about 40 minutes away) and went to the Sky Top Apple Orchard. It was the perfect weekend to go as the leaves are at their "peak" fall colors! And of course, it was on top of a mountain. The kids enjoyed a hay ride, feeding ducks and sheep, looking for apples, and picking out pumpkins.
A win by our Auburn Tigers was a great finish to Saturday! Sunday was spent going to church, another trip to Fall for Greenville so the kids could ride the "kiddie rides" and decorating Jeremiah's pirate pumpkin!
