Halloween

So sorry that Halloween was 2 weeks ago and I am JUST now posting about it. Better late than never!
We had a great Halloween with close friends and Gigi. The Murphy's and Foret's came over to join us for dinner and trick-or-treating. We all (7 adults and 6 kids) gathered around the table for some taco soup and then quickly got the kids dressed!
John David with Lee, Jonathan, and cute little Raley!
Let me narrate the rest of the evening with pictures.
First, Jeremiah. Unfortunately, he didn't want to stay with the group. He was on a mission! A Candy Mission! He had to go to as many houses as possible and get as much candy as possible. I didn't know where he was half the night. Thank goodness his daddy did!

We did manage to persuade him to take a few pictures with his friends!

And Evie. Well, her night could be wrapped up with 1 word: MORE! She quickly learned to walk up to the door, NOT hold her bag out, but search the candy bowl for herself and take. If someone handed her a piece of candy, she quickly replied, "More!" And the way she says "more" is ridiculously cute. She pronounces it with a long O instead of the "or" sound.
And of course like all children her age, she wanted to eat each piece of candy at the moment she received it!
Here she is searching the bowl...
Still searching...
Going in the bag... Notice how she picked the 1 thing with multiple pieces of candy. Smart girl!
And going back for "more!"

Look how full her cheeks are with candy!
We had a great time! And we were all exhausted by the end of the night. And this is what it looks like when you tell the kids, "No more candy!" Jeremiah looks depressed and Evie is throwing a tantrum.
