Christmas Tree

After getting back from Thanksgiving, we drove out to the middle of no where and picked out our tree. I think John David always loves the sound of picking AND cutting down the tree until we get there! He always says the saws aren't sharp enough and that it takes him forever. He did improve on his time from last year, but it still took a while.

After a little help from Jeremiah and Evie, he finally got it cut down.
The kids were excited to get it loaded and home! Even after daddy's hard work, he still offered to pull the kids in the wagon back to the car! Sweet daddy and husband.

And once we got it home this is what it looked like: Do you think there is enough room for the star?

Finished tree!

The kids are very proud of the tree. They helped put the ornaments on and constantly remind me to turn the lights on!

This is random to this post, but I wanted to post a picture of a tradition that my mom has started too! She orders real Christmas wreaths from QVC and has mine delivered to my house! This is a picture of my wreath on the door! I love them and they smell so great! Thanks mom for our little tradition!

Creating great memories for Jeremiah and Evie that WILL last a lifetime! How fun..wish I could have been there! It floods my mind with many treasured memories of all the years of seeing John David and Preston at those ages "getting the tree" and gathering the Christmas Greens from the farm..love it.

JD and Clark are interestingly similar!!! 'm surprised he didn't just pull it out and strap it on top of the minivan with the roots dangling! Also, love how tall it is!!!
Beautiful family! I'm going to miss y'all so much!
