7 years ago today...

I became Mrs. John David Adams, Jr. What an incredible day! As I browsed through our wedding album today showing the kids what mommy and daddy looked like 7 years ago, I was flooded by so many memories. We have had an incredible journey so far and we definitely have so much to be thankful for.




We have moved 3 times. Twice in Mobile, from our first apartment to our first home which we built. We survived 4 years of medical school and I taught school for 3 years. We brought Jeremiah home to that first house in Mobile.



One year later we moved to Greenville, South Carolina for residency and immediately got pregnant with our 2nd blessing! We have almost finished 3 years of residency and have 2 more to go. And also a year of fellowship.


And to celebrate 7 years of an amazing marriage, we went to Charleston over the weekend to celebrate. The few pictures below I took with my phone. We had a great time of sleeping in (well til 8:00 anyways), eating lots of yummy food, shopping, learning about Charleston's rich history and laughing!




We stayed at a quaint little Inn that was close to everything. We did a lot of walking and hand-holding!



It is a beautiful place to visit and we had great food recommendations from lots of people!



John David and I want to give a BIG thank you to Gigi and Sonny for keeping Jeremiah and Evie for us to enjoy a weekend away! They entertained our little ones, spoiled them, and took them to eat at their favorite places! We definitely enjoyed our time away knowing our little ones were WELL taken care of!


I love you John David. You are my best friend who I love more and more each day. I can't wait to spend many more years with you and I pray that we would glorify God through our marriage and through parenting the blessings God has given us! You are an amazing husband, father, friend, and doctor.
