Counting down... to so many things!

Match Day is 17 days away!!!!!! What? I cannot believe it. And John David has only 2 weeks of fourth year left. He has 2 weeks off before we go to Africa and then once we get back from Africa-he graduates. It is crazy. We have come a long way since the 1st semester of his 1st year. It is hard to believe that It is almost over. Back to match day, I think their class has decided to open their envelopes at the table with their family. The other choice was on stage in front of everyone. So I am excited about that.

Second, we leave exactly 1 month from today to go to Kenya. This is crazy. And when people find out we are taking an 11 month old-they look at us like we are crazy. yes, there are a lot of things I haven't figured out yet and there are a lot of things I am nervous about, but I believe it will all come together in the end.

Third, I don't know if I have posted about this but our house is up for sale. We have had it on the market for 1 week. We have had a little interest, but nothing serious. We are praying it will sell before we leave for Africa.

And if we don't have enough going on, we threw a vacation into the mix. We are leaving on May 25th for 4 nights. We are going on a Royal Caribbean cruise to the bahamas. I am pumped. And Jeremiah will be staying with the grandparents. So, it will be interesting to see how I do with leaving him b/c I have never done that.

We have taken some pictures the last few weeks so I will post them as soon as I can.

Hey Danielle, Just wanted u to know that you are a big part of John David's success in Med. School. Everything that he has accomplished has been, due in a great part, to you. Your marriage and being Jeremiah's mother has given him the opportunity to devote lots of time and energy to medicine. Sonny and I are so grateful and thankful for him and his family. We love y'all. Danielle, i think what you are doing is admirable (taking Jeremiah to Africa with you). It's a great example of doing what is right and not just what is easy. I'm really excited to see how God will use you and JD!
