This kid is Silly!

Jeremiah is starting to have quite the sense of humor and imagination.

John David came home post-call today and was very tired. The plan was for him to stay up until I left for church with the children. However, he fell asleep on the couch. And this is what Jeremiah decided to do...

In case you can't tell, that is Jeremiah's big boy underwear. They have Buzz and Woody on them! I started some potty training yesterday and so they were downstairs. John David was so sleepy that he had no clue Jeremiah had done this! :) And instead of being a sweet wife and telling Jeremiah not to mess with daddy while he was sleeping, I laughed hysterically and snapped a photo!

Also, Jeremiah has an imaginary coo coo bird. It often sits on his shoulder. If you ask him what color he is, Jeremiah will answer "green!" every time. Coo coo bird is starting to really come into play a lot. Today while driving to church, Jeremiah informed me that coo coo bird had gotten loose in the car and I needed to catch him. So I caught him and put him back on Jeremiah's shoulder. And today for lunch, Jeremiah shared his sandwich with coo coo bird. He slid his plate to the opposite side of the table and pushed the chair under the table after coo coo bird sat down!

And lastly, Jeremiah has started picking up on when I tell Evie no. She often likes to wreck his train track he has built and this makes Jeremiah upset. Well, the other day he was cooking with his grill. He was stirring a pot of food and Evie decided she wanted in on the fun! Jeremiah looked at her and said, "No, no Evie. That is brother's!" I wonder where he heard that from??? That is usually what I tell her when she tries to steal something he is playing with!

I love the fun conversations we are starting to have! He is so fun.
