Summer Time, Summer Time

Today was our first day at the pool! Being a member of the pool is worth every dime! I love it, the kids love it and so it is a win-win situation for everyone involved!

At the end of last summer, Jeremiah was moving around the pool really well wearing just swimmies! I was hoping to start out this year the same way, but he had other plans! At first, he sat by the side of the kiddie pool for about 30 minutes. He just sat there staring at all the other kids playing but wouldn't get in.

Finally, I picked him up and stood him in the 1 foot pool and he realized that he could walk around and play too! He had a blast from that moment until we left!

As for Evie, she whined for 1 second when I put her in the float but was good the rest of the time. She floated around the entire pool and was so entertained by all of the kids.

I know the pictures aren't great but all I had was my phone.

Here is little Evie... I wanted you to see the full view! I think the ruffle is too cute for words!


Here she is eating a snack! You can't tell but that is a monogrammed "E" on her swimsuit! The same "E" is on her hat as well!








You can barely see her face, but she is smiling at her starfish float!

That was the 1st of many, many trips we will take this summer. Jeremiah already asked if we could go back tomorrow and of course I said YES!!!
