I pack our bags... beach bag with towels, sunscreen, and hats. I pack our cooler... drinks, extra drinks, snacks (because all Evie does is eat), momma's diet coke, sandwiches, etc. The pool bag full of toys stays packed and outside. And of course 2 floats.
It is a scene to see me walk in the pool with all of this. Evie is on my right hip. I am carrying 2 bags, 1 cooler, and her float. Jeremiah walks in with his float (a ring) and his "oodle" as he calls it.
And how do we arrive at the pool? In the golf cart, of course! You may remember that when we moved to SC, John David's parents got us the golf cart. I posted about it here.
It is amazing. It is really great because after we are done at the pool, tired and hot, I don't have to load the kids in a HOT car, strap them in and worry about them getting my car wet or having to change them into dry clothes before we get in the car. And the breeze that blows in our hair is like a little sleeping pill that makes my already tired children, really tired!
We are really enjoying our neighborhood pool. There are lots of other children Jeremiah's age that he plays with. And Evie just walks around the pool in her float and plays with all the toys. We have made lots of great friends. I usually sit on the side of the pool with my feet in and talk to all of the other moms! It is a sweet thing!
